OUR AIM:
Our mission is truly a simple one, to make our earth a more biodiverse planet. Our goal is to do this by making instrumental changes to the agriculture industry, where monoculture has become standard practice. Monoculture is the planting of only one type of crop for a more efficient farming process. This creates many different types of problems, including soil degradation, pest increase, and limiting the amount of food for local pollinators. Monoculture has been attributed to an increase in chemical fertilizers, chemical pesticides, and the decline of pollinator populations. Included in these populations are the bees, who are responsible for pollinating more than a third of the world’s food.
Our purpose is to educate people of these problems and work with farmers in agriculture to move toward more biodiverse farming operations. Our hope is that we will create an impact, implement change, and save the world by saving our pollinators. Our focus is on saving the bees, the creatures that we truly cannot live without, by increasing agricultural and urban biodiversity. Our mission is to make this planet Our Diverse Earth.
